AnswerNet Races for a Cure

On May 8, 2011, the AnswerNet team was honored to walk in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Philadelphia, PA. Co-workers, friends, family and millions of others joined together for this charitable cause. As part of the world’s largest breast cancer organization, the Philadelphia branch of Susan G. Komen for the Cure embraces hundreds of thousands of people in the community who share in the Komen vision to end breast cancer forever.

Gary A. Pudles, President and CEO of AnswerNet, is an avid supporter of breast cancer awareness and prevention. His grandmother, a breast cancer survivor, inspired Mr. Pudles to do the walk. “She had a healthcare plan and could afford the treatment that saved her life,” he states. “But there are millions of women out there who cannot.  What’s worse, many women get a mammogram and are diagnosed but then don’t have the resources to do anything about it.  They simply have to let the breast cancer run its course…and we all know where that course will end if left untreated.”

The counties served by the Komen Philadelphia branch are:

  • Pennsylvania: Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Lehigh, Montgomery,  Philadelphia, York
  • New Jersey: Camden County
  • Delaware: Kent, New Castle, Sussex

T’is ALWAYS the Season at AnswerNet

Standard

T’is the season of giving, caring, sharing and doing good things for other people. So it seemed the perfect time to share our latest website – www.AnswerNetCares.com.

The AnswerNet Cares website is dedicated to the efforts of the AnswerNet Cares committee, the good work that has been done by AnswerNet employees, the workings of donor-advised-funds and FJC, the fund managers who administrate AnswerNet Cares donation distribution. As a result of AnswerNet Cares, Gary Pudles received the American Teleservices Association’s Spirit of Philanthropy Award in 2009 in recognition of the creation of the program and the causes it has supported.

The AnswerNet Cares website allows the world at large, including media contacts, search engines, customers, and prospects to see that we are much more than a group of small companies or individual workers. They can now see a tightly knit community that cares for their friends and neighbors in need and that our Core Values are much more than words on paper. They can feel confident and proud of their relationships with AnswerNet.

This website, and AnswerNet Cares as a whole, embodies the Core Values of the AnswerNet family. We are Passionate with Good Attitudes, Team players who are Detail Oriented and believe (and practice) open Communication delivered in a Kind and Likable manner.

We encourage you to log on to the website and see for yourself what the combined efforts of a group of dedicated employees can do.
